Interview with Daisy the Chihuahua

Welcome to the blog, everyone! Today, I have an interview with Daisy the Chihuahua who’s taking a break from her thrilling detective escapades in the A Canine Cozy Mystery series.

With her big personality packed into a tiny frame, Daisy is not only the star of the show but also a pawsitively delightful interviewee. So, find a comfy spot and join us as we dive into the world of cozy mysteries through the eyes of one of our favorite four-legged detectives.

Question 1: Daisy, what inspired you to become a canine detective?

Daisy: Well, you see, as a tiny chihuahua, I’ve always been underestimated! But I believe that size doesn’t matter when it comes to bravery and cleverness. After I was rescued by Lily, I couldn’t help but want to repay her kindness by solving mysteries and helping others. Plus, my nose has a knack for sniffing out trouble. I just can’t resist a good case!

Question 2: How do you deal with bigger dogs who might underestimate you?

Daisy: Oh, believe me, I’ve faced plenty of big dogs who snicker at my size. But when they see how fierce I am and how quickly I can dart around them, they realize I’m not to be messed with. I use my speed and agility to my advantage. I can weave between their paws while barking up a storm.

Question 3: How do you keep your spirits up when the case gets tough?

Daisy: I rely a lot on my loyal furry friends and human family for support, especially Lily. A good belly rub or some playtime always lifts my spirits. And let’s be real—nothing beats a tasty treat after a long day of sleuthing. Also, I always remind myself that every challenge is just a steppingstone to becoming a better, smarter detective.

Question 4: What qualities do you think make you a good sleuth?

Daisy: My determination and loyalty! I won’t give up on my friends, no matter the odds. Plus, being small means I can get into tight spaces that bigger animals can’t. And of course, my big personality helps me get the attention I need to sniff out the truth!

Question 5: What advice would you give to other aspiring detectives out there?

Daisy: Never let your size define you! Be brave and face challenges head-on. Trust your instincts and don’t be afraid to investigate things that seem a little ‘ruff’. And remember, every great detective needs a loyal team. Be sure to surround yourself with friends who have your back.
